Night rating will not only open for you an amazing view to enjoy at night but also it is a mandatory step towards obtaining EASA Commercial pilot license (CPL) if that is your goal. EASA NVFR privileges of the license allow you to exercise flights visually at night.
For those who are not willing to finish surfing the skies by the sunset and want to enjoy flying privileges at the night, gain your next level of qualification. EASA NVRF rating allows you to continue in VMC (visual meteorological conditions) at night.
COURSE CONTENT & TIMELINE
- Theoretical knowledge training comprises of at least 4 hours of instruction. The theoretical knowledge syllabus covers the revision or explanation of following subjects:
- Air law
- Human performance
- Meteorology
- Aircraft general knowledge
- Navigation
- At least 5 hours of flight time in the appropriate aircraft category at night, including at least:
- 3 hours of dual instruction, including at least:
- 1 hour of cross-country navigation with at least one dual cross-country flight of at least 50 km (27 NM); and
- 5 solo take-offs and 5 solo full-stop landings
